Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed as a safe and structured environment, which aims to provide people with a place to go for treatment for a minimum of 3-5 times a week, along with therapy for 9 hours per week. IOPs are ideal for individuals who don’t need drug and alcohol detox or inpatient treatment and can recover from home while maintaining a busy schedule. The main idea is to make it convenient for you to stay in treatment.Get Help Today
Outpatient Treatment Program (OP)
The idea of an outpatient program (OP) is to give people the opportunity of flexibility and independent living at home while receiving treatment for their conditions. As we lead busy lives, people can prioritize things, such as school and work, while still attending their recommended treatment and therapy sessions during the daytime or at night.Get Help Today
Medically-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a treatment approach used for people specifically suffering from alcohol use disorders (AUDs) and opioid use disorders (OUDs).
With the help of FDA-approved medications and therapy, this clinically proven method of medical detox helps remove the toxic substances of drugs and alcohol from the body before treatment begins, as well as, reduce withdrawal symptoms, stop cravings, and prevent relapse.
It’s important to note that Medications used for MAT are evidence-based treatment options and do not just substitute one drug for another. At Kingsway Recovery, we use anti-craving medications such as Naltrexone and Vivitrol to block the sedative effects of opioids and prevent feelings of euphoria.
We can administer Vivitrol on-site with our on-staff Physicians Assistant along with the Psychiatrist on Staff. We also use Suboxone to treat people with opioid addiction. These medications help taper an individual down from withdrawals, reduce psychological cravings that cause these chemical imbalances in the body, and helps to reverse/prevent overdose.
Along with the treatment programs offered at our rehab facility, as part of our integrated approach, Kingsway Recovery also offers a variety of therapy services, as it’s one of the most versatile and necessary treatment options for addiction, and co-occurring mental disorders.Get Help Today

Therapy That Works for You
Kingsway Recovery believes in providing people with therapy ranging from individual and group settings to traditional and holistic. Our individualized treatment plans speak to each patient’s conditions. Whether that is addiction, mental illness, or both simultaneously, we provide the addiction therapy types that appropriately tie into your treatment plan, and most importantly, address your specific clinical needs. We then evaluate your progress over time, to make sure that we are always on track with your goals.
We offer therapy services as a component of our treatment program. Counseling works as a means to teach people how to best understand their conditions, how it influences their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how to cope with them effectively. This can help motivate a person to continue their treatment journey, as well as, prevent relapse that commonly occurs in the early stages of sobriety. We provide therapy services in individual and group formats. They include the following:
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most commonly used therapy types, which helps prevent patients from relapsing back to substance abuse by teaching them strategies to take control over their problematic thoughts and behaviors.
Addiction doesn’t just affect the one suffering, it affects everyone around them, including family members. Family therapy allows a family unit to work out their issues surrounding addiction. The idea behind family therapy is that problems exist between people, not within them. Family therapy is a type of counseling that helps members improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.
Individual psychotherapy helps find solutions for problems that an individual may have. A psychotherapist may help a person who is dealing with a tragedy in their lives. These tragedies may include some sort of abuse, losing a loved one, and depression from addictive habits.
During therapy sessions, the therapists help the person to deal with challenging situations. Individual therapy takes place weekly, with the client’s primary therapist. It focuses on developing a treatment plan, creating recovery goals, and dealing with co-occurring disorders.
Group therapy is a form of counseling, utilizing support and personal interaction with people who have similar experiences with addiction and mental illness, to help each other process, cope, and grow. There are many different benefits of group therapy.
Kingsway Recovery Can Help You!
If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction and/or a mental health disorder, you are not alone! Our treatment programs in conjunction with therapy have proven to help our patients not only recover but learn how to best cope with their conditions over time.
By focusing on a person’s whole being (mind, body, spirit), we can find the root of the problem more effectively and efficiently, to avoid misdiagnosing or mistreating someone, by missing any underlying factors such as co-occurring mental illnesses.
Our goal at Kingsway Recovery is to always use evidence-based treatment methods to maximize the length of sobriety and decrease the chance of relapse. We look forward to helping you on your journey to recovery. To get started on your journey to freedom from addiction, contact us today.
